Who the Bitch

Who the Bitch is a 3-piece band made up of vocalist/guitarist ehi, vocalist/bassist Nao and drummer yatch. Formed in February 2005, their sound incorporates elements of punk, alternative and garage to create what they call “junk rock.” They released their debut mini album, Miracle Fight de Go! Go! Go!, in March 2009, and promoted it via a 20-venue national tour. In August, they entered a contest held by e+ Entertainment Ichiba in conjunction with Summer Sonic ’09, receiving over 1.3 million online votes, as well as the vote of the music festival organizers. As a result, they were selected from among 2,106 entrants to play the Sonic Stage at that year’s Summer Sonic. The group began to gain significant attention from both fans and industry professionals, due in part to their appearance at the festival, as well as their participation in MONSTER baSH 2009, but also because of their unique, explosive sound. This buzz led to their January 24, 2010 solo performance at Shibuya Boxx rapidly selling out. Their second release, “Satisfaction de No Reaction”, a download-only song, went on sale on April 1, 2010. Their debut single, Superstar, a disco song in Who the Bitch’s warped style, is scheduled for release on July 21.

2005年2月に結成した、ehi(Vo./Guitar)、Nao★(Vo.Bass)、yatch(Drums) からなる3ピースバンド。パンク、オルタナ、ガレージなどの要素を吸収したジャンク・ロック。 2009年3月ミニアルバム「ミラクルファイト de GO! GO! GO!」をリリースし、全国20ケ所に及ぶツアーを敢行。同年8月には「e+エンタメ市場《meets》×SUMMER SONIC 09」へエントリーし、130万票にもおよぶユーザー投票とプロデューサー選考を経て、応募総数2,106 組の中から”SUMMER SONIC 09”出演の座を獲得、そして、MONSTER bash 2009へも出演。その中毒性のある爆発的なサウンドとライブパフォーマンスが、音楽ファンや音楽関係者の間で大きな話題を呼ぶ。 2010年1月24日に渋谷BOXXにて開催されたワンマンライブのチケットは大好評につきSOLD OUT! 勢いそのままに4月1日配信限定楽曲「Satisfaction de No reaction」をリリース。間髪入れず7月21日にWho the Bitch最強のデスコナンバー「Superstar」をついにリリースすることが決定！
