TETSUYA is the leader and bassist of L’Arc~en~Ciel, formed in 2/1991 in Osaka. He has released 39 singles and 12 albums as L’Arc~en~Ciel. Along with the activities of L’Arc~en~Ciel, TETSUYA started his activities as a solo artist in 2001 and has released 8 singles and 2 album. As for his hobbies, he has great interests in vintage furniture and contemporary arts, especially French architecture. He is one of the most distinguished collectors of a renowned furniture designer Jean Prouve’s works.

1991年2月tetsuyaを中心に大阪で結成した L’Arc～en～Cielのリーダー＆ベーシスト。これまでにL’Arc～en～Ciel として 39枚のシングル、12枚のアルバムをリリース。 L’Arc～en～Cielの活動と並行して 2001年よりソロ活動をスタート。これまでに8枚のシングルと2枚のアルバムをリリースしている。

また、趣味の分野では、ヴィンテージ家具やコンテンポラリーアートに関する造詣が深く、特にフランスを代表する近代建築、家具デザイナーのジャンプルーヴェ氏の作品に関して日本でも有数のコレクター。

L’Arc～en～Cielのリーダー＆ベーシストとして1994年7月メジャーデビュー。

2001年7月　TETSU69（テツシックスティーナイン）として、「wonderful world/TIGHTROPE」をリリースしソロ活動を開始。

2002年8月　シングル「蜃気楼」をリリース。

2002年10月　シングル「15 1/2 フィフティーンハーフ」をリリース。

2002年11月　アルバム「Suite November」をリリース。

2003年2月　シングル「WHITE OUT ～memory of a color～」をリリース。

2005年3月　トリビュートアルバム「LOVE for NANA～Only 1 Tribute～」に「REVERSE」で参加。

2007年3月　シングル「Can’t stop believing」をリリース。

2009年12月　アーティスト名をtetsuからL’Arc~en~Cielの活動ではtetsuya 、ソロ活動ではTETSUYAと改める。

2010年5月　約3年ぶりのソロシングル「Roulette」をリリース。

2010年7月　ソロ初の全国ツアー「FIRST TOUR 2010 ルーレットを回せ！」を開催。（7月～8月）

2010年8月　シングル「LOOKING FOR LIGHT」をリリース。

2010年11月　シングル「lonely girl」をリリース。

2010年12月　DVD「FIRST TOUR 2010 ルーレットを回せ！～LIVE & DOCUMENTARY FILMS～」をリリース。

2011年1月　アルバム「COME ON！」をリリース。
