2005年　かつてから交友関係にあったイノヒロ鬼--YOGURT-pooh--とノムTV--サンプリングサン--は、 パーティートークの延長線上に本気も入り交じり 一度スタジオ入りしてみないかという話のまま数年を過ごしてきたが、ついに実現の方向を辿る。 同時にドラマーを探しはじめた所、これまたカワサキプロ--サンプリングサン--が名乗りを上げる。 晴れてスタジオ入りした3人は、 それが衝撃的な出会いであったことを再確認する。 京都在住であったイノヒロ鬼はリハーサルのため東京に通う日々を過ごすが、 本腰を入れるためついに翌年東京へ移住。 同時にYOGURT-poohはロングバケーションに突入。 同2006年より本格始動したSURFING in United States of Americaは 次々と楽曲を製作しながらライブ活動も始める。 ] 狂都にて録音された音源『SUSA No.1』をライブ会場限定で発売。 これは枚数限定のため、すでに完売している。 2007年には1st mini album『MOTEL』を発売。 高い評価を得ている。 同年12月25日、SUSA PARTY『海の家 vol.2』にて カワサキプロ脱退。 2008年を迎え、新ドラマー・コジオが加入！ 圧倒的なライブでのパフォーマンスと併せて 話題はますます浸透中である。 "SURFING in United States of America" was formed in 2005 between Hiroki Ino(Gtr/Vo in "YOGURT-pooh") and NomuTV(Ba, ex"Sampling Sun") who had been fellows since they were university students. They soon found a Drummer. Kawasaki Pro(Dr, ex"Sampling Sun") by luck. In summer of 2006, as Ino moved to Tokyo from Kyoto, the band started to work more active and serious. At the same time, "YOGURT-pooh" got in a long vacation. "SURFING in United States of America" have played in various livehouses in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto, and they had their first demo CD-R "SUSA No.1" all sold out. In 2007, they released their 1st mini album, "MOTEL". It has gotten so many favorable reviews so far. In December of 2007, Kawasaki Pro left. Soon after the new year 2008 came, the Great Drummer Kojio joined. They rock for audience overwelmingly more than ever.
