Another acoustic chindon unit which began because of the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake was Soul Flower Mononoke Summit. They follow the same principles as Soul Flower Union but in a more active, practical way. They play minyo, labour songs, revolutionary songs, and soshi enka (old comic songs of freedom fighters) as well as many other kinds of music.
