Since 2001, the band has gone through many member changes and some dormant period to settle on the current member in Jan 2006 and restarted its activities in Tokyo area, focusing mainly on Shibuya. From the hard mixture sound to mellow and catchy sound, SOLZER is able to vary its tune freely and widely. Its lyrics are aimed toward listeners of same generation rooting for them or singing about something that is dear and close to their everyday lives. 3 members of the group are mixed blood. Rob (vocal) has Belgian and Japanese parents, Ken (lead guitar) has Indonesian and Japanese parents, and Tsubasa (side guitar) has half Korean and Japanese parents.
