Hailing from west London, “City Limits Volume 1” is a glorious explosion of physical energy and concentrated emotion. Deep Medi is the burgeoning stable of dubstep pioneer, Mala (Digital Mystikz/DMZ). .. The combination of impassioned melodies, ruff London bass, wonky synth and jungle-esque flourishes on “City Limits Volume 1” have made Silkie and his Anti Social Entertainment camp mainstays of the biggest and most influential venues in dubstep, like Fwd>>, DMZ London & Leeds, as well as London’s leading station Rinse FM. The album is the culmination of eight years hard work: Silkie began producing at 15 while still at school. He’s now seeing the fruits of his labour with DJ bookings both across the UK and worldwide.     MASのリーダー”ヤマダタツヤ”のソロユニット。MASとして最新作「えんけい/En Kei」の他2枚のアルバムをリリース。他にもツジコノリコ、sgt.、降神関連の諸作そしてヤノベケンジ等の作品でも手腕を振るう他、音楽家としてSONY, HONDA, googleなど様々な企業の音楽も手がける。

    1990年代にはHIPHOP DJとして当時SEEDAも在籍したmanuevaのメインDJとして活動する。その傍ら、渋谷Asia, Harlem, 青山Φで橋本徹らと共にレギュラーDJを務める。 その後、”ZEFR”, “Yapanology”などのユニットやSHING02のジャパンツアーにおいてバックDJを務めるなど精力的に活動。アンダーグラウンド音楽雑誌「Massage」や「Collider」の編集や寄稿も行う。過去にZefr名義でMix CDをリリース。KK presents 「By Us」にもyapanology名義で参加。

    西村尚美によるソロ・ユニット。浸透するように透明できらびやかな音色とメロディー、そこに拮抗する振り幅の広いリズム隊を操り、エレクトロニック・ ミュージックの範疇ではありつつも、その中のどのジャンルにも収まる意思を見せないカラフルでエモーショナルな世界観の楽曲を産み出す。それらの素材をリ アルタイムにエディット&ダブ・ミックスするスタイルでのライブと、自身の音楽観を派生/拡大解釈した様々なソースを大胆に紡ぐDJプレイには定 評があり、いわゆるクラブ、ライブハウスの現場だけに留まらず、メディア・アート系イベントから野外パーティーまで、昼夜を問わず様々な場面で様々なタイ プのクラウドを唸らせている。 また、2004年以降はアンビエント・ミュージックに特化したプロジェクト”PORTRAL”(ポートラル)としても12inchやアルバムなどを発表 し、並行してライブ活動も行っている。 最近では、東京・お台場にある日本科学未来館のプラネタリウムのコンテンツ『BIRTHDAY』の音楽制作や、NPOであるLAのネットラジオ局・ dublabの募金キャンペーンへの楽曲提供、 Opiateが主宰するデンマークのレーベルHobby IndustriesからのASLOPE 『A Helping Hand』へのリミックス提供、海外でも評価の高い日本人アーティスト9dwへ提供したリミックス楽曲が2012年度の電通の新卒採用HP『DENTSU RECRUIT 2012』のBGMに採用... などのトピックに加え、エンジニアとして親交の深い他アーティストのトラックダウンからマスタリングまでの作業も数多くこ なすなど、多彩に活動。自身のプライベート・レーベルPlain Musicも2007年から運営しており、自身の12インチやTシャツなどラインナップを増やしている。 2011年1月19日に4年振りとなるアルバム『Elegant Confections』を、Original ver.とAmbient ver.の二枚組仕様でリリース。 http://www.masuminishimura.com
