sauce81 - Red Bull Music Academy 2008に日本人として唯一参加し、Fatima(Jazzy Sport/Sonar Kollektive)、Nino Moschella(Ubiquity)、Dorian Concept(TrebleO/affine records/Circulations)、Onra(BoBun/Circulations/AllCity)、Pursuit Grooves(WhAT RuLES/Rush Hour)等と意気投合しレコーディング／セッションをする。また、Mark de Clive Lowe、Sleep Walker、Recloose、Kay Suzuki等とのセッション・ワークでもお馴染みのBen Hadwen(Flute/Sax)をフィーチャーした楽曲は必聴。特にAroop Royが編集したコンピレーションCD"Absolute Sounds From Tokyo(Uniqe Uncut/UK)"に収録されている"qozmik phunk"はKev Beadle等もサポート。BBCの人気ラジオ番組Deviationで、Benji B.が彼の未リリース音源をプレイしたのも記憶に新しい。先日リリースされたスクラッチDJの最高峰Rob SwiftのMixCDにも楽曲が収録される等、ジャンルや国境の壁を越え注目を集めつつある。２００９年、Kez YM、RLPとともに"Cosmopolyphonic Radio"を始動。日本の新しい才能を発掘し、世界に向け発信。同じように地球の裏側で"今"鳴っている音を日本にも紹介していく。 .... 22/2/2009.... played by benji b, kev beadle, jay scarlett, simon harrison, nik weston, dj musica, tom simpson, aroop roy, kay suzuki, and many more... -
