[Global Airwaves].. 2005年にヨーロピアン・トランス・コンピレーションCDとしてスタート。あえて万人をターゲットにせず、トランスの本場ヨーロッパの最先端クラブ・シーンを再現するその内容は、当時の日本のトランス・シーンに飽き足らないクラバーから厚い支持を受ける。CD3部作のリリース後、その世界観を東京のクラブでリアルに表現するパーティーをスタート。会場の変更、音楽スタイルの進化を繰り返しながらも「自分たちが世界で一番カッコいいと信じる音楽を、お客さんとスタッフ全員で楽しむ！」というコンセプトを現在まで貫き続け、アンダーグラウンドながら多数のコアなファンを獲得。東京のトランス／プログレッシブ・ファンにとって、一種の救世主となり続けている。.. .... [Global Airwaves] Global Airwaves began in 2005 as a European trance compilation CD. Rather than opting to target the masses with a familiar, mainstream sound, GA instead aimed to reproduce the sounds from the forefront of the club scene of trance's home turf in Europe, and hence struck a chord with clubbers who felt unsatisfied with Japan's trance scene at the time. After releasing a series of 3 CDs, GA finally took form as an event and made its worldy outlook into a reality on Tokyo's dance floors. Through several location changes, as well as undergoing constant evolution in musical styles, GA currently continues on with the concept of "With what we believe is the coolest sounding music in the world, everyone, audience and staff alike, can have an awesome time together!" While still an underground party, Global Airwaves harbors a large number of core fans, and for Tokyo's trance and progressive lovers, GA continues to be a kind of savior to the club scene.
