    ■KYOKO's PROFILE Playing the piano from 3, the flute from 10 and the trumpet from 13, KYOKO grew up with a rich musical background. In 1996, she started her DJ career, playing Deep House、Jazz House、Progressive House for a few years. She then moved onto playing Trance and became a resident DJ for True Trance in 2002, playing with international acts from around the world, with artist from countries like Israel, S. Africa and France. In 2003, she had the honor of being the first female Japanese DJ to play for the Street Parade held in Switzerland. In 2006, KYOKO toured in Israel, playing at several locations, and she gained a lot of attention. She was also the first female DJ to play in Seoul, Shanghai and Beijing with well-known artists like Astrix and Alien Project. Starting in 2009, KYOKO started her career as a techno DJ. Playing with well-known artists like Ken Ishii, she has also expanded her experience and talents to organizing her own all girls techno party "ARE YOU READY? ALL LADY!!" Originally being a house DJ, she is able to express herself with her musical experience and unique performance. With her powerful DJ style and charisma, she is able to constantly amuse the audience and keep the dance floor going. 　　　　　　　　　　　　　　DJ KYOKO　　　　　　　　 ３歳でピアノを、１０歳でフルートを、１３歳からはトランペットを演奏し、常に音楽に触れながら育ったKYOKOは、１９９６年から本格的にDJとしての活動を始めた。Deep House、Jazz House、Progressive Houseを３年間プレイし、その後、Trance DJに移行。２００２年からは、TRUE TRANCE のレジデントDJとして活躍。イスラエルを始め、フランス、南アフリカなど多くの世界的アーティストとの共演を果たした。海外では、２００３年、スイスのストリートパレードに日本人初の女性DJとして参加。また２００６年のNew Year Partyではイスラエル国内で７カ所のツアーを敢行し、大きな話題を呼んだ。２００７年は中国・北京と上海、また韓国・ソウルでもビックアーティストと共演し、ツアーを大成功させた。 また、２００９年からはTechno DJとしても活動中。KEN ISHIIや、TAKKYU ISHINOなどのtechnoアーティストとの共演や、ガールズDJパーティー『ARE YOU READY?ALL LADY!!』のオーガナイザー兼DJを務めるなど、techno界でも幅広く活動する。 またこの同時期に、テクノアーティストとして、『DRUNKEN KONG』を結成。今年2011年にはイタリアのレーベルと契約し、デビューを果たした。 DJとしても、アーティストとしてもフルパワーで活動中のKYOKO。今後の活躍が注目される。
