安ヵ川大樹　Daiki Yasukagawa

Bio:

安ヵ川大樹 1967年、兵庫県西宮市出身。 幼少のころよりピアノを始め、音楽に親しむ。 18歳で上京、明治大学入学後、「ビッグ・サウンズ・ソサエティ・オーケストラ」に所属、コントラバスをはじめる。牧島克彦氏、吉野弘志氏　吉田秀氏に師事。 1989年、「第19回山野ビッグバンドコンテスト」にて最優秀賞受賞。 1991年、アルファレコードより、ＣＤ「Down under」に参加、プロ活動を開始する。 96、97年にはマリーナ・ショー（Vo）の全国ツアーに参加。 98年より、故日野元彦（ds）のクインテットに抜擢され、ＣＤ　ダブルチャント(EWE)　に参加する。 ２００１年より自己トリオ、ソロライブ活動を開始。 ２００２年９月、ＥＷＥより全編ソロベースアルバム 「Let My Tears Sing」 同年２月、自己トリオ”Ya！３”のアルバム 「LOCO」 ２００４年７月　安ヵ川大樹トリオ 「KAKEROMA」 をリリースし、好評をはくす。 ２００６年５月、９人編成のリーダービックコンボ　《ファーイーストジャズアンサンブル》　を立ち上げる。 ２００７年８月　ファーイーストジャズアンサンブルで、松江城国際ジャズフェスティバルに、　エディーヘンダーソン（tp）を迎え出演。各方面より絶賛される。 ２００７年８月　スキップレコード　より　ＣＤ《ファーイーストジャズアンサンブル》 「FAR EAST JAZZ ENSEMBLE」 をリリース。第２回ＰＬＡＹＢＯＹジャズ大賞候補作品に選出される。２００８年　ジャズレーベル　D-MUSICAを立ち上げ、高田ひろ子トリオ　村山浩トリオ（パリ録音）のCDを制作。２００９年より　昭和音楽大学　ジャズ科　非常勤講師。 スイングジャーナル誌「日本人ジャズメン読者人気投票」では常に上位にランクされ、（２００４、２００６、２００７、２００８年度ベーシスト部門３位）　　 １００枚を超える国内外のレコーディングに参加（小曽根真、大坂昌彦、デイブ　ピエトロ　アキコグレース　松永貴志　川嶋哲郎、小林桂、ウンサン、など）　　 ＴＶ　ラジオ等の出演　や国内外のジャズフェスティバルにも数多く出演（Ｍｔ．Ｆｕｊｉ、　東京ジャズ、　南郷ジャズフェス、宮崎フェニックスジャズフェス、　ニュージーランド　クライストチャーチジャズフェス、など）。 ジャズのフィールドだけにとどまらず、金子飛鳥ストリングスアンサンブル、加古隆「色を重ねて」公演、テレマン交響楽団との共演など幅広い活動も行なう。 卓越した音楽センス、技量、スケールの大きなオリジナル曲、今　最も注目を集めているベーシストである。 Daiki Yasukagawa, bass A native of Nishinomiya (between Kobe and Osaka), Daiki took up piano as a child. He began playing bass at 18 when he joined the Meiji University Big Sounds Society Jazz Orchestra, and studied the instrument with Katsuhiko Makishima, Hiroshi Yoshino and Shu Yoshida. He quickly became one of the busiest jazz bassists in Japan. While still in his 20s, he was selected to tour Japan with Marlena Shaw, and later went on to earn a spot in drummer Motohiko Hino's quintet, appearing on the band’sDouble Chantalbum (1998, EWE). Since then, he has been in constant demand as a sideman. He has appeared on over 100 recordings by domestic and international artists, and played at numerous festivals within and outside Japan (Mt. Fuji, Tokyo Jazz, New Zealand’s Christ Church Jazz Festival, etc.). He is consistently ranked among the Top 10 Japanese jazz bassists by Swing Journal magazine. Daiki has also launched several projects as a leader. In 2001, Daiki began his unaccompanied solo activities and started his own trio. These endeavors bore fruit the following year in the EWE's, "Let My Tears Sing" and "Loco", respectively. In 2006, Daiki formed the Far East Jazz Ensemble (FEJE), a nine-piece band consisting of top bandleaders in the Tokyo jazz scene. In 2007, the group appeared at the Matsue Jazz Festival with trumpeter Eddie Henderson as guest soloist, and released is eponymous first CD on the Skip Records label. Since 2003, Daiki has also toured and recorded in the US and Japan with the Cross-Pacific jazz quartet NYTC, co-led by Dave Pietro and Jonathan Katz.
