(ゲスト:トータス松本、RIP SLYME、BEGIN、Leyona、浜村淳など)、.. 2004年1月には、ベスト盤アルバム「BLACK BOTTOM BRASS BAND Best!Best!Best!」、.. 6月にはアルバム「ワッショイ★スター」(ゲスト：斉藤和義、m-floのVERBAL)、.. 2005年12月には、ニューオリンズ復興チャリティー・アルバム「Live in New Orleans 2005.Jun」を発売。.. 2006年1月にはアルバム「LIFE IS PARADE」(ゲスト：MONGOL800)を発表。.. 精力的にツアーをまわる。..そしてバンド結成15周年を迎え、いままでのたくさんのコラボレーションワークなどをまとめた2枚組のベスト盤「History」を、2009年1月にリリース。..そして2010年６月に3年半振りになるオリジナルアルバム「Toughness&Madness」を発表。.. また、ライブ、イベント出演以外に映画やテレビ、CM等に楽曲提供、.. 様々なアーティストとコラボレーションを行う等、活動の幅を広げている。.. 全国各地で行っている子供たちに音楽を身近に感じてもらい、音楽の素晴らしさ、.. 楽しさを実感してもらう事を目的として行っているワークショップ活動は、好評である。.. .. .. .. Back in 1993 in the city of Osaka a New Orleans style band
was formed, they call themselves the Black Bottom Brass Band.
The Band:
Koo on Trumpet
Yassy on Trombone
Monky on Soprano&Alto&Baritone Sax
Iggy on Tenor Sax&Flute
Tamotsu on Sausaphone
Oji on Snare Drum
Anton on Bass Drum&Drum set
Starting off on the streets, the Black Bottom Brass Band
started picking up a quick following then can be credited to their
unique and energetic performances. In 1996 the band was picked up by
Pony Canyon Records and later in the year they released their first major label CD.
In 1997 the band was able to travel to New Orleans and
play as well as record in the city where many of their influenceswere born.
Their trip state side did not go unnoticed and they
received several write ups in local newspapers and magazines.
They still have many friends from the trip and continue a constant dialogue
with the city and culture of New Orleans.
Since the release of their debut album Brass Bottom BlackBand has had
the opportunity to work with artist from all sorts ofmusical genres.
They have worked with many famous Japanese artists.
They have released 11 albums since 1996 including History
in 2009 for their 15th Anniversary. In 2005, Black Bottom Brass Band
released a benefit album "Live in New Orleans 2005 Jun" to help revival efforts
after the devastation of hurricane Katrina.
