.. .. .. .. 14歳からギターと自宅録音をはじめ、東京藝大在学時に絵画を先攻する傍ら本格的にバンド活動やカセットMTR による多重録音を開始する。1996年M.O.O.D/donutレーベルからアナログシングル「bonjour」発表。その後Daisy World、TRANSONIC Recordsなどでオムニバスアルバムに参加。2000年、任天堂ゲーム「巨人のドシン1」オリジナルサウンドトラックアルバム「ドシンの跡を追って」リリース。2001年、デビューシングルを耳にしたアレック・エンパイアの熱烈なオファーを受け、彼の主宰する英DHR傘下のレーベル"geist"よりアルバム「Genny Haniver」をリリース。 .... Tatsuhiko Asano was born in the Gifu Prefecture of Japan in 1966. He began playing guitar and home recording at the age of 14. At the age of 16 he joined the brass band and learned percussion. He moved to Tokyo at the age of 21 in order to study at a fine-arts university where he participated in various bands and created experimental music utilizing multitrack recording. Asano's first single, "bonjour", was released on the "M.O.O.D/donut" label of Tokyo in 1996. He released other work in compilations by the Techno/electronica labels "Transonic Records" and "Daisy World Discs". In 2000 he composed music for the Nintendo video game "Doshin the GIANT". All of these works received high critical praise. Asano released his first full-album, "Genny Haniver", on Alec Empire's label "Geist" (a subsidiary of "DHR") in 2001. He received immense praise by the European press for the mild textures of his sound with delicate guitars and utopian flavored rhythms. This CD is to Raise funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Association World Wide. 100% of the proceeds of all Profits will go to MDA. There are many great artists that have donated songs to this project. These artists include Kickaxe, Tommy Vitali, Warmachine, Shangren, Skew Siskin, Angel of the Nightfall, Autumnis, Publik Parking, Agent Cooper, Warpath, Tony Smotherman and many many more artists.
