Bio:

YUUKi (ES9/DLP/TOKYO) YUUKi is a core member of Dub Lab Productions (DLP) alongside with DJ AKi and Techriders. They are now becoming one of the most leading creative team of the current dance music scene in Japan. DLP produces the globally renowned club in Tokyo, WOMB, and they are also known for running the most popular Drum& Bass party in Japan, 06S. YUUKi first left Tokyo to London when he was 14, and he begins to show his interests to the Acid Jazz and Jazz Funk scene in London in early 90's. YUUKi then experiences the Hardcore scene which eventually navigates him to encounter with Jangle/ Drum&Bass. With his unique character and being one of the very few Japanese enthusiasts for Drum&Bass in early stage in London, he begins to link with many DJs & Producers likes of Fellowship, Solid State, Fabio & Grooverider, and Bad Company. In 96, not only begins to produce tracks, YUUKi begins his carrier as a DJ. He has collaborated with Fellowship on Renegade Recordings' release in '98, "Intuition", and he then decides to move back to Tokyo for building a new foundation to the Japanese Drum&Bass scene. In '99, YUUKi gets together with his current partners in crime, the members of DLP, and their motivations for bringing up a strong vibe for Drum& Bass In Tokyo are now being well recognized. His DJ style can never be described as one particular style yet he still keeps his soulful / jazzy flavor mixed with uplifting beats. YUUKi produces a Drum& Bass unit, ES9, alongside with DJ AKi and Takeo, and their current release "Free Your Mind" is being well credited on dance floors everywhere they go. YUUKi is also MC-ing as a front man of ES9. May 06, DLP is launching their new record label 06S Records. YUUKi is also known as the vocal for Re:valve. Re:valve is a project which represents the new style Tokyo underground down tempo sound with their synchronized Audiovisuals. Their first track, "Like An Eagle" has been very popular track amongst many of visual/music creators in Japan.
