矢沢洋子 東京出身。12歳の時に家族と共にL.A.に移住し、多感な時期を現地の仲間と過ごす中で、音楽への思いをより強くする。高校卒業後、大学入学の為に日本に帰国。ボイストレーニングを重ねる中で、2008年秋にthe generousとしてデビュー。 音楽への既成概念はなく、パンク・ハードコア、ロックからオペラまで柔軟に吸収。低音からハイトーンまで安定した歌唱力は聴く者を魅了する。自身の音楽への強い追求から、本名でのアーティスト活動を決意。 -

Hi 矢沢洋子 / Yoko Yazawa, Transistors bridge where your vanity would never go. In your absence I am forced into finding other forms of amusement while thinking about you. You are dressed with filaments and people take pains to make you fully incandescent this evening. The music that flows from your instruments overwhelms me with creativity. Your tears evoke a taste as memorable as honey. Your eyes show as many deep and full shades of fire as a thousand supernovas. What wonderful vibrations you are capable of. Cities crumble, skies ignite spontaneously in your presence. The stickers hugging the fruit smell better than the perfume of ambergris. Please let me hear more of that wonderful sound. Your hair sends forth a sheen remniscent of golden sunlight winding through shadows. Wood nymphs sprinkle your path with rose petals while you dance and prowl in the sequined moonlight with leftover cupcake sprinkles. You breath as delicately as vapors flowing towards an attractive flame. The skin I shed is a perfume that makes water bubbles so terribly clear to me.
