The past few years have been a learning and growing experience in life and love. I'm beginning a new chapter in my life and learned that nothing is truly forever, life is short and it needs to be lived. Even in love, there's a time when you have to let it go, though it hurts. I've had my share of tears and I'm trying to rise above and prove to myself that I can do it on my own. Life is hard, but love is harder and more complicated, but I have to walk this path alone till I find the one that makes my heart smile. At this point in my life, I am content with where I am at. I've realized that you can't hold on to something that will never be again because in the end, you'll be the one that will suffer the heartache. I have taken a more mature approach on people that affect my life and have been trying to live by what I preach. I'm not perfect, but I do try to live by the Word. I have become more cautious as to whom I choose to associate myself with and I really can't have negative people in my life. I'm trying to move in one direction.. and that's forward. I am a very driven person and this year is going to be all about me. If you don't understand me and what I'm trying to do with my life, maybe you weren't meant to be a part of mine. Life happens for a reason...it's short lived and everything is a test. It's a test of will power, knowledge, strength, and heart. The hardest critic you'll ever come across is yourself. Don't let yourself hold you back from what you can potentially be.
