  • yoshikitty アメリカにて初お披露目!!!

    ハローキティ誕生35周年を記念して 10月23日〜11月15日（現地日程）の間、
    アメリカのロサンゼルスにある 「ROYAL/T」（CAFE'/SHOP/ART SPACE） www.royal-t.org にて
    イベントが開催されます。

    そこで、yoshikittyの展示も決定しました。
    こちらの展示は期間内入場無料にて一般公開されます。

    また、イベントに先駆け、同会場にて 10月22日19:00〜(現地時間)に
    海外のセレブ、及び関係者を集めたレセプションパーティーが行われる予定です。

    "ROYAL/T" (CAFE'/SHOP/ART SPACE) that exists in Los Angeles in the United States during October 23rd - November 15th (local schedule) in commemoration of the 35th Hello Kitty birth anniversary The event is held with www.royal-t.org.

    Then, the exhibition of yoshikitty was decided, too.
    General is open to the public to an exhibition here in free entrance in the period.

    Moreover, the reception party that gathers an overseas celebrity and parties concerned is scheduled to be held from 19:00(local time) on October 22 in the same hall in advance of the event.

    手術を行う米国カリフォルニア州ビバリーヒルズのシーダースサイナイメディカルセンターの
    YOSHIKI主治医からのコメント

    Drummer, pianist and X JAPAN band leader, Yoshiki, will undergo neck surgery on Monday, July 27, 2009 at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Beverly Hills, CA. Dr. Neel Anand, Director of the Cedars-Sinai Spine Center, will perform a cervical foraminotomy.

    Due to his intense drumming style, Yoshiki developed a worsening of his neck pain and left hand numbness over the past month, affecting his music performance. His condition has been evaluated by doctors in the U.S. and Japan. Yoshiki underwent a spinal x-ray series, an MRI of the spine, and an EMG. After seeking second and third opinions on the diagnosis and treatment, he concluded that the foraminotomy was necessary for the cervical foraminal stenosis.

    Yoshiki's primary physician at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Dr. Tommy H. Tomizawa (UCLA Assistant Professor), states that he will need a few weeks to recover from the surgery and a month or more of rehabilitation. If his condition does not improve over the next several months, laminectomy, discectomy and spinal fusion would be considered. Artificial disc placement would be another treatment of choice.


    　X JAPANのリーダー、ドラマー、ピアニストのYoshikiは、米国カリフォルニア州ビバリーヒルズのシーダースサイナイメディカルセンターで２００９年７月２７日の月曜日に頸椎の外科手術を施行する。頸椎椎間孔切除術の執刀医は、同病院の脊椎センター部長のNeel Anand外科医が担当する。

    激しいドラムプレーのため、頸椎椎間板ヘルニアが悪化し、この一ヶ月で、手にしびれが出るなど演奏に支障をきたしていた。日米の多くの医師にコンサルトを受け、頸椎のレントゲン、MRI、また筋電図など多くの検査を要した後、頸椎椎間孔狭窄症と診断された。セカンドオピニオン、更にサードオピニオンを求め、数々の治療法を推薦された中で、現時点では、 頸椎椎間孔切除術が最良と判断し治療に望む。

    Yoshikiの同センターでの主治医、冨澤仁UCLA内科助教授によると、術後の回復に数週間かかり、その後１ヶ月以上かけてリハビリの予定である。 数ヶ月しても症状が改善しない場合には、椎弓切除術、椎間板ヘルニア摘出術、脊椎固定術などが必要となる。人工椎間板置換術なども外科手術の選択として考えられる。

    上記のとおり、この度、X JAPANのYOSHIKIは、頸椎椎間孔狭窄症と診断され、
    頸椎椎間孔切除の手術を行うことになりました。
    　X JAPANは昨年の東京ドームでの再結成公演以降、東京ドーム5公演を含む計10本のワールドツアーを行ってきました。YOSHIKIの持病である頚椎椎間板ヘルニアは悪化の一途をたどり、公演を追うごとに激痛に苦しんでいたようですが、ワールドツアーを続けるために、今年に入ってからは周囲の親しいスタッフにさえ一切このことを口にしませんでした。

    YOSHIKIは5月末の台湾公演後、日本や中国での慌しいスケジュールをいくつか終えた後、LAに戻り連日深夜にまで及ぶレコーディング作業を進めていました。台湾公演以降、左手の感覚を失っており、7月に入り、右手の痺れも強く感じるようになっていました。レコーディングの合間を縫って病院に通い、日米の著名な医師の診断をいくつも受け、日本の医師は「これだけの激しいドラムプレイをしていて、この状態で済んでいるのが不思議なくらい。余程、周囲の筋肉を鍛えていてそれが支えになったのだろう。」とYOSHIKIの強靭な肉体に驚いていましたが、病状は深刻で、骨の変形により神経を圧迫、左手の筋力が低下しており、腰骨の変形により足の痺れも起こしている、と診断されました。

    いくつか診断を受けた上で、頸椎椎間孔切除術が最良と判断し、この度、手術に望むこととなりました。首は神経が集中している場所なので、決して簡単な手術ではありません。しかしながら、YOSHIKIが活動を続けていくうえで、この手術は最善の方法と、私たちも考えております。

    　YOSHIKI本人は、8月の鈴鹿でのレース観戦も、先日発表したフランス公演も、
    これから発表する全ての公演も決行するつもりですが、X JAPAN制作運営管理委員会では、手術後の本人の経過を

        Just seen you in Youtube for the Suzuka film gig. ....Thanks for flying such a long way back to meet us.  Just can’t imagine the pain you had suffered during the long flight after the surgery.  Yoshiki, y....ou looked a bit thin than before.....  You know, we are actually dying to see you to make sure that you are OK although we have plead for your stay at LA home.  We have worried so much about you…..
