    We are the college radio station of Oakland University broadcasting in Southeastern Michigan at 88.3 FM Auburn Hills and webstreaming worldwide at wxou.org. WXOU has grown from humble carrier current beginnings in 1966 to today's FM and webstreaming capable of 2009. We are the only music-playing free-form college radio station in Southern Michigan. Mainly our audience is the Metro-Detroit listeners, but we have had listeners from out of state and other countries. We are a non-profit organization, and offer public services and underwriting opportunities. Our shows vary every few hours and are different every day so there is bound to be something that you like at WXOU. We don't play the same old stuff you hear on commercial stations. We cater to independent labels, up and coming talent, local artists, and the new and different. Please visit us at wxou.org
