About me:

For me laughter is one of the main ingredients of life, without it don't know who I would be. I love to laugh and make others laugh. I am single mother of two adult children, I have three of the greatest grandchildren you will ever meet,(no really they are). Family is very important to me, building loving relationships from the heart is what makes life meaningful. I believe that compassion is what fuels love, and without compassion love is shallow.

I will eternally be grateful for each and every life obstacle that I have encountered, because without them I would not be the woman I am today. My strength, courage, and fortitude are because of the challenges I have faced and thank God, overcome. Long journey however I have truly been blessed to grow while in the mist of them all. "Every adversity, failure and heartache carries with it the seed of an equivalent or a greater benefit" quote by Napoleon Hill.

Life is full of joy and if we choose to take a breath look around each day we can honestly say life is good, no matter the circumstances. The truth is what we believe in our hearts, not the things that appear, they are merely dilusions there to take deceive us.

I look forward to the second half of my life. Many people are discouraged with their age, I am proud of the 59 years I have lived, loved and walk on the planet. The alternative to getting older is not something I choose to comtemplate. There is way to much life to live and enjoy.

I cherish each year and relish in the wisdom I have obtained, all of which only comes with the gift of continually have birthdays. I am a proud Black woman loving the skin I'm in, proud of my anchestors on whos shoulders I stand. I know that it is because of the strong Black Men and Woman who have gone before me that I am able to stand tall and committed to being all that God has called me to be.

Grateful to say the least is what I am, as I continue to learn each and every day the many new insights that the Universe is unfolding. My future is BRIGHT, as the stars above, and I am delighted to wake up each morning to see what the new day holds for me. So it is with pride and oh so much dignated that I wear the crown of Queen Darlene. Each year that The Father has so graciously given to me I humbly say Thank You for allowing me the gift of a blessed bountiful life, full of love, gratitude, peace, harmony, bliss, joy and excitement.

I am an advocate for children, teaching parents/adults how vitally important it is for kids to receive uncondidional love, respect, and encouragement. I am an actress on a nationally syndicated radio soap opera, www.itsyourworldsoap.com a life coach/mentor, which is my favorite thing, I enjoy assisting people in becoming the best they can be.
