It’s not every day you find out the ShamWow guy (real name Vince Offer) directed a movie and somehow convinced Academy Award-winner Adrien Brody to star. The title — InAPPropriate Comedy — pretty much says it all, and as we can see from the trailer, the comedy deals with the five most taboo and offensive topics out there:

There were a lot of great trailers and clips released this week, but none could top Ryan Gosling dumping a vial of acid on bad guy’s leg in Gangster Squad. Coming close was Arnold in The Last Stand, Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton in Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, the absolutely terrifying Evil Dead remake, and much more.

The Top 10 Best Things In Pop Culture In 2012

1.) ‘The Avengers’ – With so many characters (and not to mention mega star egos) to juggle, ‘The Avengers’ could have easily been an incoherent mess of a movie. Instead, under the watchful eye of director Joss Whedon, it turned out to be the most entertaining (and dare I say best) super hero movie ever made. The film managed to give equal screen time to all of its mega watt superstars and finally (FINALLY!!!) did The Hulk proud. Yes, ‘The Avengers’ made a ton of money, but it never felt like a soulless blockbuster, actually, it was just the opposite – which is why ‘The Avengers’ will forever be considered a classic.

Lindsay Lohan just can’t seem to stay out of trouble. Last night around 4 a.m. she was arrested after hitting a woman in the face at a nightclub. Lohan was arrested for third-degree assault and is currently being held at the 10th precinct by the NYPD. Lindsay, we just want you to know that you’re not alone, and we figured that it would only be appropriate to list some of other the other artists whose art turned into assault when they were pushed too far.

By now we’ll assume you’ve heard of The Canyons, Lindsay Lohan’s newest movie that sees her starring opposite porn star James Deen for writer Bret Easton Ellis and director Paul Schrader. When the film’s first real trailer came out, stylized as if it were a 1970’s grindhouse movie, it caught us off guard a bit. Now, the movie’s newest trailer makes it look like a 1950s film noir, and since we can actually hear the dialogue this time, it looks and sounds…well, just awful. We’re still not able to get a solid read on this because it’s so different from the last trailer, and who knows? This might all work out in the context of the full movie. But as of now…yikes.
