• Get Started With The Olympics Early

    The Olympics are kicking off early … sort of. The 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials for diving, track and field, swimming, and gymnastics begin today, and you’ll be able to watch some of it live on your TV. Here’s how.

    NBC Sports Group is continuing its coverage of the trials for three weeks, starting tonight. Between NBC and NBC Sports Network, the group will carry over 45 hours of live coverage, for a grand total of 56 hours.

    Diving trials start tonight at midnight on NBC Sports Network and will include 5 hours of weekend coverage on NBC. Track and field trial coverage will begin on Friday at 9:00 p.m. on the NBC Sports Network and will include four nights of primetime coverage on NBC.

    Swimming trial coverage will begin on Monday, June 25th at 6:30 p.m. on NBC Sports Network and then move to NBC primetime at 8:00 p.m. for the next eight nights. Gymnastics trial coverage will begin Thursday, June 28th at 5:30 p.m. on the NBC Sports Network. Coverage will conclude on Sunday, July 1st with the women’s gymnastic final on NBC during a primetime slot.

    The London 2012 Olympic games will begin on July 27th, 2012, and end on August 12th, 2012.
