If you’ve never heard of the British comedy series “The Inbetweeners,” the fact that it’s been described as “The British answer to American Pie” might be enough to get you interested. Airing from 2008 to 2010 in the UK, the television series is now airing on BBC America here in the States, so you can catch up on all three seasons (or “series,” as the Brits say) whenever you want.
    .
In 2011, The Inbetweeners was turned into a film and was so popular that it doubled the grosses of Rise of the Planet of the Apes and Fast Five across the pond. Now we get to see what all the fuss was about, since The Inbetweeners is making its way to American theaters on September 7th, 2012.

The Playlist has a brand new poster for the movie, which you can see below. The film follows the misadventures of Will, Simon, Neil, and Jay as they get into Superbad-esque situations in Greece while trying to hook up with random girls. Sounds like a great way to cap off the summer and get one last blast of catharsis out before school starts back up again for our younger readers.
