Still upset about the break up of Metro Station? Well, wallow no longer.

No, former frontman Trace Cyrus isn’t forming a band with his sister Miley Cyrus or his adoptive father Billy Ray. But Cyrus did announce via his Twitter account that he would be returning to music sooner than most expected.

“I will be releasing my own music very soon,” a recent Tweet read. “With a new band name. I’m excited for this new path in my life but sad to say bye to MS.” Cyrus followed this statement up two days ago, adding (or, more accurately, yelling) that a “NEW SONG WILL BE POSTED ONLINE BY THE END OF THIS WEEK. get ready.”

In addition to already having new music ready to go (and having a broken caps lock key on his laptop, apparently), Cyrus says that his plans for the near future include a reality show, a possible solo album and a clothing line called Southern Made Hollywood Paid.

Oh, and he’s also apparently searching for some DVD boxed sets of Boy Meets World. So if you manage to find one, let a brother know.
