    .. 2000年結成。.. これまでにアルバム4枚とシングル2枚をリリース。.. 彼女達のステージ、楽曲は特定のジャンルにこだわる事無く、ハヤリや時代の変化に流されず、古き良き音楽を愛して病まない。.. 普段は都内近郊を中心にライブ活動を行っているが、近年は千葉ロッテマリーンズのサブステージを始め、地域のイベントや老人ホームなどでの慰問ライブも実施。.. また関西方面へのライブも積極的に行っている。.. 結成十周年を迎えワンマン三部作、関西ツアーなど各地でライブを展開予定。.. .. .. About Utahime-Gakudan.. Always musically fun,the Utahime-Gakudan's performances are a trip back in time you should experience at least onece. Since the solo identity vocalist Mai Higuchi formed the band in Jan 2000,they repeated several member alternations until 2005 and finally setteled down in a present member. Their music is a fusion of sounds ranging from Swing to Big Band Jazz to R&R and even Garage Rock. They believe the goal is to make and share melodic music in the same vein as Kayoukyoku from the beginning and middle of the Showa era("Showa"referring to the period that dominated a good proportion of the 20th century when Kayoukyoku was at its most popular).....
