i'm getting bored with my page & i was starting to hate the only song i had on my page! sooooo i just posted a couple songs back from '05 w/Amy on drums. i may rotate some of the '05 songs every other month just to keep me happy. Nate & i are SUPPOSE to be recording more soon, but not soon enough! sorry about the sound quality, but i only have songs recorded live with Amy.

oooo, i like it a lot! i really hear the influence of Patti Smith, The Breeders, PJ Harvey, Sonic Youth & although i'm not impressed with all female bands...i do get very excited when i hear a GREAT 1! good find my friend, i like 'em! i'm gonna add them to my music page & put in my "bands that ROCK" category. my personal page was getting way too overcrowded so i've deleted almost 300 bands/comedians/other artist (once they're on my music page). i still have 100 more to delete! i'm only keeping my ABSOLUTE most inspiring bands on my page or if i personally know someone in a certain band.
BB will be my "whore it out" page! well, be safe in Austin & have fun :)

i just heard about that movie being made (the day before you told me).
I CAN'T WAIT! i hope they do the band justice & hopefully they'll portray all the members correctly, i know their history was difficult though & I HATE HATE HATE KIM FOWLEY!!! their "manager", he can fuckin choke for all i care! i'm sure it'll discuss that lame bastard in the movie but still i'm SUPER excited for my grrrls!!! :p

the 7 essential Runaways collection, U ROCK! s/t 1st release ('76) is my fav! my fav song by them, "Is It Day Or Night". Live In Japan was HUGE! they were treated like The Beatles there! Cherie was the original singer. when she quit Joan took over, although Joan sang some songs when Cherie was still in the band. Joan has a very distinct singing voice though. the only song Lita sang is "I'm A Million". when Nathan & i 1st started dating he learned Lita's CRAZY guitar solo in "Johnny Guitar" cuz it's my fav solo EVA! so he surprised me by learning it & then played it for me with all the original feedback & guitar noises that Lita played in it! he probably forgot it by now, but it was AWESOME at the time! that fucker, he can learn/play anything! well, there's a bit o' history for ya! ask any female rock musician who their influences are & The Runaways are probably in that list.

i was actually thinkin i should REALLY dye my hair black, i kinda like it & Nate does too :) we were gonna start recording more songs this month, but i was stupid & hurt my left thumb on Thanksgiving. it still freakin hurts BAD which makes it hard to hold a guitar without a thumb & i've tried to play through the pain, grrr! hopefully i can play comfortably SOON & get some recordings going! i have 1 lil' song on my page...all by its lonesome :( awww
