I started designing as a child and made most of my clothes as a teenager. My mother, Agnes Dereon Beyonce was a local seamstress/ designer and I was her helper. I started designing for Destiny's Child out of necessity. Fans loved the clothes and I became one of the top stylists in the industry. We received so many requests from fans to look like Beyonce, that it was a matter of time before Beyonce and I started three clothing lines. The "Miss Tina" line brings great fit and style to all women of all shapes and sizes. The Dereon line is a great success with its catchy motto, "Where the sidewalk meets the catwalk," and includes a girls line with sizes infant to 16 in addition to a line geared towards the curvier woman sizes 14 to 24. Both lines offer shoes, handbags, outerwear and jewelry. I am so excited to announce the launch of the House of Dereon dress line, with beautiful evening and cocktail dresses. I truly believe that, "fashion trancends all ages, colors and sizes. Everyone deserves great style and fit whether you are a size two or 22.

The new House of Dereon Dress line is a pret-a-porter fashion line introduced by singer Beyonce Knowles and her mother creative director/designer/stylist Tina Knowles. The style and concept is inspired by three generations of women in their family, with the name "Dereon" paying tribute to Beyonce's grandmother, Agnez Dereon.
