Have you ever wondered if some people were just born with “IT”? Well imagine having “IT” TIMEZ TWO. From the moment of conception “IT” must have just been in the DNA of southern bred twin R&B sensations Jrmar and Lamar Jefferson. The brothers were born in the twin city of Texarkana, a town on the border of Texarkana and Arkansas, and can remember entertaining as early as the age of four. Through the encouragement of their mother and grandmother, they began singing in church which led them on their pursuit of music. Not just any music, but music full of Love and Joy, Fun and Romance, and all around Family Making Music. “We are unique because most groups are made up or put together, we were born as a group”,. Their chemistry is unmatched. Although Jrmar is the oldest, Lamar is the leader and more dominant of the two. The brothers grew being influenced by great entertainers such as: Michael Jackson, The Temptations, Jodeci, R. Kelly, The Isley Brothers, Bobby Womack, Frankie Beverly and Maze, just to name a few..... They began sharing the stage and taking their singing career very seriously during their freshman year of high school. Throughout the years they have been able to open up for many acts;: Avant, Lakeside, Jodeci, and Ginuwine. In addition, they have made a number of nationwide television appearances over the years as well as being featured on shows such as American Idol, America’s Got Talent, MTV Making The Band 4, and The Jenny Jones Show. American Idol judge and creator Simon Cowell, who is one of the harshest talent critics in the world, was so impressed with Timez 2 that he said, “Very good. You guys are someone that people will remember.” On America’s Got Talent the audience raved over their performance..... One of their most memorable moments was performing at Jingle Jam in front of a crowd of 19,000 in Houston, Texas. “We performed H-Town’s single “Knocking The Boots” and the crowd went crazy.” Their biggest gratification in performing is seeing the fan’s reaction and getting a great response. Times II believes they can be the best R&B act of this generation and are planning to make history through their artistry and music. “Our fans get double the pleasure, double the fun, and double the entertainment. You get two for the price of one..... TIMEZ II MUSIC.... Lamar and Jrmar are not just singers they are also song writers. Jrmar produces most of their hits and they both enjoy creating music that is all about love, cherishment and family.
