At the age of 5 he started out by trying many different instruments such as Piano, Keyboard, Drums, Harp and s.o. When he was 13 he bought a KISS record and after that he started learning guitar. Throughout the years he was influenced by KISS, Van Halen, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, King's X, Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper, Rainbow, ZZ Top, Frank Zappa, Deep Purple and much more. Thomas was influenced of many great Guitarplayer like Gary Moore, Vinnie Vincent, Eddie Van Halen, Richie Blackmoore, Michael Schenker, Ace Frehley, Brad Gillis, Angus Young, Albert Lee, Ty Tabor, Tony Iommi, Billy Gibbons, George Lynch, Jimi Hendrix,Vinnie Moore, Rory Gallagher, Joe Satriani, Tony MacAlpine,The Kulick Brothers Bruce, Bob,Yngwie Malmsteen, Steve Vai and many more. In 1993 he formed the band "ACARI". After that he released 5 solo records: Thomas Tomsen - " Zerstörer " (1998), Stahl & Eisen (1999), Best of plus 6 (2001), Alptraum (2004) and actually Sunflickers (2011). He also play with "Galetzka Tomsen " , " ZorraE " and " GBT ". He works as a guitar teacher and session player for different projects, bands and artists.
