The Trunk Space is an 1100 SqFt art, performance and music venue in Downtown Phoenix, AZ. It is owned and run by Stephanie & JRC. We specialize in contemporary art, both in visual objects, and live performance. In addition to art openings & live shows, we also have a full espresso bar. We like: experimental, electronic, goth, folk, experimental, old fashioned, standards, jug bands, jazz, new wave, rock, pop, ska, and most of all anything interesting, new and Fun!!! We can't allow cover bands because ascap & bmi are contstantly trying to make us pay liscencing fees, we are sorry, but original music only.

  • Movies

    We are in the process of installing a video projector. Soon we would like to host regular indipendant film, & experimental film nights!

  • Television

    We'd rather you go out and do something social, and see something live and fresh and new--even if you don't come to our place. But if you'd deside to stay home and watch TV, at least watch something cool.

  • Books

    We like new and underground literature, poetry, spoken word, monologue, chap books, zines, comic books, theater, picture books, children's stories.

  • Heroes

    Anyone who's doing it for the love of art.
