The Sweetspot is a brand new recording studio just outside Halmstad, Sweden. Located in the countryside of southwestern Sweden, the facility provides the best of two worlds: a highly technological and modern workplace set against the backdrop of golden fields and a beautiful stretch of coastline. The studio's architectural design has been provided by Lennart Nilsson, one of Sweden's leading acoustic specialists. With his expertise as a foundation, we have created a control room and several recording vicinities with the best possible acoustic characteristics. This, in combination with our advanced analogue and digital equipment, makes the facility fully equipped to meet the needs of your next album or recording. Please visit our construction page for details on the acoustic design of the studio..... Previously, the Sweetspot went under the name of Slaughterhouse and specialized in the heavy metal genre. Heavy metal still represents a significant portion of the recordings we are involved in, but since building our new studio we have started working in numerous other areas such pop, rock, and jazz..... Regardless of what genre your project falls under, we have the equipment and expertise to see your project through to its full potential. The studio can also be made available for external producers and sound engineers who are looking for great acoustics for their recording..... Once you have booked a project at the Sweetspot, different arrangements can be made to accommodate your needs. If you come from afar, housing can easily be arranged in the vicinity of the studio. We have a "diabolical association", created to deliver and spread harsh music to it's listeners. The band was incarnated in the year 2007 BC as a quartet and plays a fine blend between, Heavy, Speed, Thrash, Death Metal with some slightly progressive parts divided among the broad spectrum of the Hellbound songs. Alot of songs are on the way as the Hellbounds studio was recently completed and the total sum of 25 songs are waiting to be recorded. All Hellbound material are produced and recorded by Niklas Johansson and Hellbound. The centre point of Hellbound lays in pure energy with "kick-ass" music to rip your head off. In Live situations the band turn on the "overdrive" and give it to the max. So if you're a headbanger, you got it all in one package. .
