Fayetteville, NC: Home to Ft. Bragg, strip clubs, tattoo shops, pawn shops, and THE FIFTH. Formed in 2001 by former Cold Sweat (MCA) vocalist Roy Cathey, THE FIFTH have built a strong and feverish following by touring the East coast relentlessly and by giving the people exactly what they want - a Hell of a good time, every time. With music featured in T.V. commercials for Grey's Anatomy (ABC) and Dodge Ram (FOX), a 2008 Japanese tour, a 7-week Top 10 single ("The Gift") on WVRK-FM Rock 103 Columbus, GA, and a Monster Energy sponsorship, THE FIFTH caught the attention of Fused Management (Nashville, TN). Upon signing with Fused, the band quickly secured a deal with EMG/Universal. The label released THE FIFTH's "Confession Of Man" in July of 2009. THE FIFTH have shared bills with Nickelback, Hinder, Staind, Crossfade, Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, Sevendust, Puddle of Mudd, Saliva, Hoobastank, Filter, CC DeVille, Cold, Nonpoint, Finger Eleven, RA, Black Stone Cherry, Rev Theory, Silvertide, Jackyl, Ratt, Quiet Riot, Great White, Warrant, and Blue Oyster Cult.
