    Hey Everyone!


    I had the very distinct pleasure of singing on Jim Wards New EP recently. The EP is called In the Valley, On the Shores. You can go to www.tembloroso.com and name your own price to get a digital copy of the EP or you can pay $7, post paid US/Canada and get a hard copy, the entire month of May!!!! 


    If you don't know who Jim Ward is go to Wikipedia and look him up. Immediately afterwards you'll be heading to www.tembloroso.com to get his EP.  Its beautiful. And you will not regret it. 


    I met Jim at a festival in Germany (he did not write a song about it). Then we hung out when his band Sparta were opening for Velvet Revolver in Vancouver a couple years ago now.  We have the same birthday and we basically became best friends that night. 


    So from one friend to another bunch of friends, I'm telling you my friend Jim has made a really amazing EP. Go get it!

    i won't lie, watching the calgary flames be eliminated last night from the playoffs was upsetting. i blame the chocolate ice cream and sunstroke for the fretful sleep and my subsequent cranky mood. today, i feel no anger towards the chicago franchise. in fact, i'm...happy for you chicago. and your cities people. may you Zamboni the shit out of vancouver in the next round.

        i am truly sorry for your hockey heartbreak. the flames put up a good fight. there was that insane amazing comeback loss we chicagoans had to deal with. (last second shot at the empty net.... really??) ....i think you should incorporate this into a song. titled, "it's hard to admit chicago is the best." haha ....hearty BOOK SUGGESTION: jitterbug perfume by tom robbins, if you haven't already read it...

        I don't know if you guys saw, but in the Calgary Herald recently 'Walking With A Ghost' was nominated/mentioned as a contender for The Official Rock Song Of Alberta (amongst Nickelback and Loverboy LOL.)..T'would be pretty cool to have you guys reppin' the province ;)....Irrelevant to your post, but I thought I may as well throw that out there...

    1. apparently tegan and sara has a secret metal/hardcore fan base. the pre order for our metal tshirt...outrageously popular. you bangers! we're delighted, obviously. so, knowing now what you REALLY want, please expect a dramatic genre leap and prepare your devil horns for the next record. we just might sprinkle some death metal in with our pop. death pop? anyone?


    2. i experienced heart pounding pride when AN HORSE performed on LETTERMAN last week. i stayed up way past my bed time and i set my alarm just in case i nodded off. watching kate and damon on my tv was the closest thing to an out of body experience i've had to date.  i can safely say i understood the nervous pride of a parent during the entire two and half minutes they were slaying the television audience. hooray AN HORSE!

    www.anhorse.com their new album, rearrange beds (which i LOVE) is coming out tomorrow. if you haven't already, check out this band. they are touring all over canada and america RIGHT NOW...they are also playing with fantastic bands.     i love all of these bands. if i wasn't locked up in tegans basement writing hip hop hooks i would be hitting the road as a third wheel. that is, of course, if they agreed to let me drive the helicopter and put me up in five star hotels. i mean, they're a great band...but i ain't driving around in no compact car AN HORSE. hell no. i realize you're wee sized people, but you gotta think big to roll big.

        hey koool i saw an horse when you fellas came to lil ol reno nevada. its a bit dusty and lacking some outrageously amazing colour and by that i mean tegan and sara you should come back to reno nevada. la-tee da! ooooor or or! i just had an idea....come to Tahoe area ya? its real pretty and such and full of fine skiiers and boarders like myself. oh and mono is some sick shit, dont fall down any stairs with that yah spline might rupture.

        Ha! Death Pop eh? I'd be down. It's funny, i have many metalhead friends and when we hang out they all wear their metal band tee shirts and sweatshirts and i wear my 'tegan and sara' shirts and stand out a bit. Now with this T&S Metal shirt i'll be able to fit right in, to the untrained eye.

        An Horse are so cute. They are so humble and quiet, you just want to give them a big hug. They seemed a little nervous on Letterman, but who wouldn't be nervous on Letterman? Everyone should definitely become familiar with An Horse. :) Their cd is great for a good summer drive.

        i've had hives and mono ...mono was worse cause i received it right before the holidays.which made it suck even worse.I got hive from the baseball pants that were washed in a SUPER POWERED bleach substance my mom used when i was a lil' lad....i hope you both get to feelin' better.............p.s. i wish you would come to Texas with Owen or Pinback as your tour mates.
