Sept16: (Splash News) - Taylor Swift, the recent Best Female Video award winner at the MTV Video Music Awards, has set a Guinness World Record. Taylor has now entered the Guinness Book of World Records and set a new record for Most Entries In The US Top 20 In A Year By A Solo Artist. The star has been in the press a lot recently after rapper Kanye West stole the mic from her acceptance speech at the VMAs, saying: "Yo, Taylor, I'm really happy for you, I'll let you finish, but Beyonce has one of the best videos of all time. One of the best videos of all time." The country singer's album Fearless, which includes Taylor's six top 20 singles from the past year, including You Belong with Me, has enabled the 19-year-old to enter the famous record book. The Guinness Book of World Records will be out this Thursday. The current issue also features Harry Potter stars Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson who are named as the highest grossing lead actors of the decade.

Taylor Swift is giving fans some new music, even though she's not yet releasing a new album. The 19-year-old country and pop sensation is re-releasing her top-selling CD "Fearless" Oct. 27 with six new songs. She will also include a DVD of photos, tour footage and her videos, including her comedic clip with T-Pain from the Country Music Association Awards earlier this year. "Fearless" has sold almost four million copies since it was released last November. It was named album of the year by the Academy of Country Music. On Wednesday, Swift was nominated for four CMA Awards, including entertainer of the year. She's also up for an MTV Video Music Award on Sunday. The CD/DVD of "Fearless Platinum Edition" will be released Oct. 27.

Aug.30:Taylor Swift has revealed that she is writing a cookery book of all her favorite family recipes. The country babe has been learning how to make her mum’s best home-cooked meals, and has decided to pen the recipes in order to pass down the methods of making the family’s favorite feasts. “I’m writing a cookery book with all of my family’s recipes!” Taylor told Sugar magazine. “My mum’s teaching me her brisket later on today. I’m going to throw a dinner party for all my friends and teach them too!”
Aug.29:Remember the rumor of a Fearless rerelease dexluxe version, well here you go:“Taylor Swift has expressed interest in re-releasing her sophomore album and it looks like it’s happening. Fearless will be re-released on October 27th as a Deluxe CD/DVD (which seems like the new standard for releases under Universal). One song and possible first single is rumored to be a track called Sparks Fly.”Aug.28:At 19, Taylor Swift sells out arenas and her albums have already gone platinum. Songs she writes herself, like “Love Story” and “You Belong With Me,” became fast hits. MAC has tapped her to help design a new nail color collection and she’s frequently in the style section of Web sites and magazines. Now she’s getting the Nutmeg state stamp of approval. As Taylor prepares to rock Mohegan Sun Arena Friday for her first headlining tour, she’ll be inducted into the Mohegan Sun Walk of Fame. The award recognizes those individuals who have made significant contributions to the success of Mohegan Sun. All inductees into the Mohegan Sun Walk of Fame will have their name engraved on a plaque that will be permanently placed at the entrance to Mohegan Sun Arena. Swift is the 15th artist to be added. Aug.26:Taylor Swift has been added to the “Justin Timberlake & Friends” charity concert that benefits the Shriners Hospitals For Children. Aside from Swift and Timberlake, other performers at the event include TLC, Alicia Keys, and Ciara. The event will take place on October 17 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, NV, with tickets going on sale this Saturday.
