    Tadataka "Tada" Unno / Born in Tokyo, Japan on 1980... Began playing piano at age 4, hooked on jazz from age 9. While attending the Tokyo University of the Arts, formed his first band. Grand-Prix winner of the 2003 Asakusa Jazz Competition in the Solo Piano department..... After graduation, his talent was recognized by Japan's top bass player, Yoshio "Chin" Suzuki, and began performing throughout Japan..... His trio, with bassist Yutaka Yoshida and drummer Shunsuke Umino, won the Grand-Prix and Citizen's Choice in the 2004 Yokohama Jazz Promenade competition. Released his first album, "Pee Ka Boo!" the same year..... In June 2006, As a part of the JVC Jazz Festival New York, performed in New York's jazz club "Sweet Rhythm" with the Yoshio Suzuki group. In addition to his own trio, he plays regularly with Masahiko Osaka, Kengo Nakamura, Daiki Yasukagawa, Kimiko Ito, Tiffany, Shunzo Ohno, Takao Uematsu, Yoshiaki Okayasu and Hideki Kawamura. He has also performed with Yuzuru Sera, one of the most acclaimed jazz pianist, and also sat-in for his later years..... In 2008, he has released his second CD "My Romance" from Village Music - part of Sony Music Entertainment group - and has received high recognition from the audiences..... With his improvisational technique, distinctive style, beautiful touch and the love of music combined, Tada is one of the most highly acclaimed pianist amongst the young and rising jazz pianists..... Tadataka "Tada" Unno / Born in Tokyo, Japan on 1980.
