Bio
Born in Manchester and moved to Armagh at the age of 12. Was a member of the Cork based band North Cregg and recorded 3 albums with them. Also founding member of the group Na Dorsa and recorded 'The wild music of the Gaels'. Became a member of the Karan Casey band and recorded on two of her albums 'Distant Shore' and 'Chasing the Sun'. Founding member of Buille and released the self titled album in 2005. Performed with Liz Carroll and was featured on 'The Baltimore fiddle fair 'CD. I also recorded on my brother Martins album 'Three's company', Kevin Crawford & Cillian Vallelys 'On Common Ground', as well as Tiarnan O Duinnchinn & Stephannie Makems album 'ceol is piob'. I am currently a member of Lunasa and have recorded 3 albums with them; 'Se', 'The story so far' and 'The Leitrim Equation'. I have also performed with: Altan, At the Racket, The Micheal McGoldrick Trio, Tommy Peoples, Tedjedor, The Alan Kelly band, Paddy Keenan. .. .. .. .. ...... For the last 8 Weeks we have sent out Comments of Appreciation to Our Dear Friends. But Today I have Something to Share with YOU.
I Wrote, Performed and Recorded a Brand NEW Song entitled "NOTHING BUT A DREAM"
For Everyone that has ever been Hurt, Disillusioned, Had a Bad Relationship, A Divorce, Promises that Were Broken...or Feelings of Pain, Betrayal or Just Misunderstandings and Confusion...This Song Is For YOU.
I was sitting in a Hotel Room in Los Angeles on my Bed Friday July 16, 2010, and in 15 Minutes This ENTIRE Song came to me. The Music and Lyrics. I Wrote Them Down on the Hotel Stationary.
I Recorded it Tuesday July 20, 2010 in the Studio. Then Had it Copywritten and Registered with BMI Music.
