Before I get into details I do want you all to know, alot of bands say this, and with good intention, that they will return or come back, But This is a promise, STONEHELM will not die a weak fledgling death. WE WILL RETURN!
We will rise again, heavier, louder, tighter and stronger than we are or ever where, our self titled will pale in comparison too what the future holds and what we will release.
-I will start with what my self, I am unemployed, and taking care of my family with little to know legal income. Haha rest assured we truly live the life we sing about. Im dealing with RX drugs that where giving legitimately by my doctor, im not an "addict" HA! im "dependent" You say tomato i say tomahto. You know how doctors can be. Just cause the doc RX'ed it to me with me asking dosent make it any better, and im defiantly dancing with the devil. Although im personally working very hard to get my self together. aside from that im in financial ruin, my amp head is gone but i will have it back with in 4 months rest Assured, And we will rise above and continue to conquer.
-As for our new bass player Andrew, he to is struggling financially, and struggling to help his family stay afloat just like the rest of us. At is at the moment he is saving to reclaim his bass, which he is not far from doing, he is learning the songs at a very fast rate and trying hard, but he also has demons he is dealing with,though his demons are to a much lesser and greener extent. :) he will pull threw first or second no doubt about it, he is a strong guy who is dedicated to making this band happen.
-Zac is at war with his personal demons, it is not an easy fight for old night wing :) (A name given and EARNED from Sourvein them selfs) His finances are also not in the best of standings, although he is trying it is a hard to win his war, it is a very difficult war to win... all his friends and family are here for him, but defiantly any fan support sent his way would be a great thing for him. He is a excellent drummer and great musician who deserves to be doing better things in his life. Send him your support! I may play guitar, Wes may shred, Andrew may keep it think and heavy, But Night Wing keeps it all together, we would be no where without him.

-Then there is Wes, Wes is our veteran, he can out shred me an day, haha believe me i tried :) haha he crushed me. Wes is also struggling Financially he is one of the few that is not battling drug problems, but the demon drink dosent make his life easier, and he hasn't had an easy one from the get go. Wes is A VERY strong individual, and no matter how many hard knocks he takes he gets back up and keeps pushing. Wes is trying to balance 3 bands right now Highwatt, Stonehelm, And the gore gods Exhumed, which i can only imagine being one hell of a nightmare. Financially Wes struggles to Southern California is not an easy place to find work especially for 4 long haired white men, Wes will be playing the may Death Fest With Exhumed, and we all wish him a safe trip and an awesome show as he deserves something good for him more so than any of us, When Wes said he wanted to join Stonehelm I about crapped myself, In my eyes he is an amazing musician, and someone i looked up to, and until we can get Stonehelm running on all cylinders We wish him the best in his other ventures. I want nothing more than Wes to remain in Stonehelm and i think he will, these are just trying times for us all.
Our goal is to re-establish our band as a strong force i the stoner/doom/metal scene We have our next EP almost complete and hope to get it released someday soon. But until We can over come our personal problems and demons, weather they are personal, financial, drug or alcohol related, or otherwise. We will have to put a hold on things. Until we RISE ABOVE!

On a plus note I will be manufacturing a small amount of our self titled albums in full color on the correct paper and in the full jewel cases, with cd art work crafted to perfection on behalf the Goatess, whom will revive the first free copy of the cassette, album, pins and another merch that we can get made. From there I will make Some CD's of the highest quality i can and get a promo pack together and send them out to label in hopes that someone will want to pick us up, and offer us what ever kind of help we can get. Unfortunaly We Will have to drop of the Doom in June Fest, Something we worked 2 years to get on, great acts will be playing that fest, it kills us inside knowing we will not be there to share the stage with such legendary acts WINO(Acoustic) and :( Hooded Menace just to name a few, so sad.
All we can ask is that our fans do not forget us, and continue to support us, because one day we will rise above and take the horse by th rains and crush again.
