About me:

State of Emergency are a hardcore anarcho punk band with a traditional early punk feel. The band hail from Worcester in the West Midlands. The band's name is a statement in itself regarding the dark days we are living in. Multinational corporations are raping our planet daily at an alarming and terrifying rate. SOE feel the time is right to make an assault on the powers that be. SOE are keeping alive the true spirit of punk, punk to us is freedom. We have a serious message with a righteous anger but always with the energy and fun of seeing through the capitalist lie and the feeling of freedom that a punk way of life gives! SOE are: Craig (weg-weggy) - Vocals/ Mark - Bass/ Luke- Guitar/ Holly (Yo)-Drums

Who I'd like to meet:

Fellow punks, anti-fascists, punk bands, anti-capitalists, animal liberation activists, anarchists, environmentalists, diy specialists, band promoters and you!

"As long as animals are brutalized by man-KIND I will scream and shout for their souls" Craig SOE 2010 Jello Biafra (Dead Kennedys) "Punk was originally about creating a new important energetic music that would hopefully threaten the status quo and the stupidity of the 1970's. I think the spirit of punk has almost completely evaporated from most of what's popularly thought of as punk music".
