Black, Cartoon/Trap alumni Scott Brazieal, Herb Diamant, and Gary Parra, plus William Kopecky (Yeti Rain), Cyndee Lee Rule, Karl E. H. Seigfried (Thunor), Richard Wileman (Karda Estra), and more. The eighth Spirits Burning and the 2nd CD by Spirits Burning & Bridget Wishart is "Bloodlines." All the tracks on this album are about various royal persons including Cleopatra: Queen of Egypt; Dracula's mother; Lobengular: a King of Africa; King Midas from Phrygia; and Chaminuka. All in all, a splendid CD available Oct 2009 from Voiceprint Records. The seventh Spirits Burning CD "Golden Age Orchestra" features a collaboration with poet/songwriter Thom The World Poet. It will be available June 29, 2009 from Voiceprint Records. The sixth Spirits Burning CD "Our Best Trips: 1998 to 2008" released Spring '09 on Voiceprint Records is a 10-year retrospective of the band, culled from the first five SB CDs. And as an added surprise the CD includes three previously unreleased tracks: "Strafed By A UFO," "Alpha Happiness," and a cover of Planet Gong's "Opium For The People." The fifth Spirits Burning CD Earth Born features 13 songs by Bridget, Don, and friends. Crew members include Daevid Allen and Hawkwind family members Simon House, Richard Chadwick, Alan Davey, Steve Swindells, and Jerry Richards. Plus performances by Cyndee Lee Rule, Cartoon's Craig Fry, and members of Jefferson Startship, Karda Estra, and Citizen Fish. Spirits Burning's fourth CD (and first double LP) Alien Injection is a mostly vocal affair that weaves through the sounds of space rock, past, present, and future. Crew members include Daevid Allen, Michael Moorcock, Pete Pavli, Adrian Shaw (Bevis Frond), Bridget Wishart (Hawkwind), and many others. Virtual best of: In Sept, 2006, Voiceprint released Daevid Allen & Don Falcone "Glissando Grooves." This CD features the best of Daevid's contributions to the first three Spirits Burning CDs, plus two new electronic Allen/Falcone duets. Spirits Burning's third CD Found in Nature was released in 2006 by Italian label Mellow Records. Contributors included Daevid Allen, Acid Mothers Temple & The Melting Paraiso U.F.O. and Judge Trev Thoms. Spirits Burning signed with French label Musea/Gazul Records in 1998, and released two CDs New Worlds By Design (1998) and Reflections In A Radio Shower (2001). These CDs included contributions from over 30 musicians, including Daevid Allen of Gong, Porcupine Tree's Steven Wilson, and Hawkwind's Robert Calvert (posthumously).
