  • Bio

South Cry was born in a small country town in the interior of Brazil. It’s the last place you would expect to find a rock band. There they are still waiting for their chance living in Lambtown, Brazil. It’s been ten years now since they came together. Each believing they stand a real chance. Each dedicating their lives to this belief despite so many hardships along the way. The first 8 years went by without a thousand CD’s sold and less then 10 events. As a professional band it would come as close to the term “zero success” as you can get. But things would begin to change when an American stumbled across their music. He was so impressed he sent it off to some of the top producers in music. Multiple Grammy Award winning producers wanted to work with the band. The American became the band’s new manager and together they chose Sylvia Massy as the band’s new producer. After so many year’s of believing they were good enough to make it they finally had some credible evidence their music talent really was as good as they believed. But just as soon as things started going good the band got some of their worse news. The band’s visa attempts to come to the United States were denied three times. It seems the American government was not willing to welcome a band from such humble beginnings. They were going to have to prove themselves first. Not wanting to back down after waiting so long the band made arrangements to meet their producer in Nassau, Bahamas. There they recorded their new album “Blue Moon”. The recording was finished by July and debuts this November 21, 2010. This album now holds the key to their future. If people like it and spread the words they might get their chance of coming to the US. For now they are still just a bunch of simple guys walking the lonely streets of Lambtown, Brazil.
