Fernando in turn found a drummer who would be present with the band only long enough to complete the recording of their 6 song demo album. The band thought Geri (oh yeah... Ug!! does have a real name) might be interested in reigniting the old flame again but the fates just haven't allowed it yet.... That's it. The whole shebang. .. .. We are currently seeking a drummer. Where did we go wrong?
Sonuva was formed as the inbred, love baby of defunct high school loser-core
bands Laceration and
Down & Out. The story? Here it goes.
Laceration: Chris (vocals and guitar) and Jeff (drums) made their first stab
aural stimulation with this band. Both got along well and had a good time
writing bad music... something was missing though.
Down & Out: was formed around the same time as Laceration and consisted of Mike
(vocals and guitar) and Ug!! (drums). Both close friends of members of
Laceration, Down & Out could frequently be seen playing along side them at
various events - including that fateful day at the "Jello Party".
The Jello Party: a gathering of friends (primarily metalheads), a kiddy pool
full of Jello and all the bad music you can cram into a backyard. Laceration
(now calling themselves Relegation) and Down & Out were 2 of the bands in
attendance. It was here that proverbial shit hit the fan for Down & Out. Mike
and Ug!! exchanged some words... err something... resulting in mid-set, utter
chaos. Drums flew, people screamed, women and children were rushed to shelter.
End Down & Out.
Taint: Seeing the demise of Down & Out was painful for Relegation, though not so
much so that they wouldn't stick their greedy little fingers in Mike... wait
that sounds bad.. *shrug* Giving Mike a new home as a second front man to
Relegation there were to be some changes. Relegation transmogrified into Taint.

We are currently seeking a drummer. If you or anyone you know is interested in
adding their own legacy to this epic tale drop us a line here on myspace or

*UPDATE*
With Nidrog's big, gay move to Nevada there are yet more changes to Sonuva.
While nothing is official you may see the addition of a new member in Nidrog's place
by the name of Marty. Stay tuned!
Sonuva has again decided to venture into the writing of
original music. While we're not 100% active at this point we are still seeking a
drummer. If you or someone you know is interested in an audition contact Chris

This is what I do now!! Chris made the flier!!
Hey you guys, thanks for accepting.
Like your sound very much ;-)
Hope to listen to more in the future.
Keep it up.
Greetings
Hey thanks for putting any reference to me on your profile. You know I put many hours into practicing and even was the bass on your first album. I was even kidnapped from school one day by your drummer. Where is my recognition!
