    In 2001, SmokeBox emerged from the Lewiston music scene with a 5 song E.P. containing the in-your-face single Say It Now. The next year saw the bands full-length debut pressed and distributed by Statue Records out of Lomita, California and promoted by Skateboard Marketing out of New York. The bands debut CD charted in the top 50 of CMJ and got airplay on numerous radio through out the US and beyond charting in the top 10 of numerous stations including there hometown station WRBC. SmokeBox released a 4 song EP entitled By Definition in 2005. SmokeBox has received attention from numerous music outlets including Garageband.com where there first single from the EP Cold has received such awards as Best Male Vocals, Best Bass, Best Guitars, Best Lyrics, Best Melody, Best Beat, Best Mood, and more. Other songs off the EP have received awards as well including Track of the day, and Track of the week. The band also released a 6 song EP titled Cuntree Musik released in April 2006. The band is very motivated and dedicated to grass roots promotion. The band personally handed out over 4500 CDR copies of the Cuntree Musik EP to fans in hopes of spreading the word on SmokeBox and breaking the mold of being from the little known state of Maine, and putting the local scene on the national music map. After a long 2 year creative hiatus SmokeBox came back to the scene in 2009 with original members Rick Servidio on vocals, Tom Connors on bass and Corey Gallant on Guitar and they added former Ballistik drummer Greg Johnson on drums. IN early 2010 Rick and the band parted ways as Rick decided to go in a new direction with his current band Ascent To Power and SmokeBox added vocalist's Alan Jones of Fifth Freedom and Chris Dugal on rhymes from 21 Shawmut St. Look for the new Box in 2010! .. .. .. .. ......
