NL Version .. .. Marsha is een jonge Zeeuwse singer-songwriter. Deze Nederlandse/Antilliaanse begon op 20-jarige leeftijd met het schrijven van liedjes. Al snel kreeg ze de titel van Zeeuwse Belofte (2005) waarna talloze optredens volgden, en de release van een demo en een EP (A Lover’s Thing, 2007). Haar muziek valt te omschrijven als singer-songwriter/pop, in het schrijven daarvan voelt ze zich voornamelijk geïnspireerd door Neil Young en Michael Jackson. Twee uitersten, maar even belangrijk in haar muzikale beleving. Door haar warme stemgeluid en persoonlijke teksten, voegt ze iets unieks toe. Marsha heeft sinds dat ze 5 jaar geleden begon, onder andere opgetreden in Paradiso, op het Bevrijdingsfestival en in de HMH. De vele podiumervaring en het plezier in muziek maken neemt ze mee de studio in als ze gaat beginnen aan nieuwe opnamen! .. .. EN Version.. .. Marsha is young singer-songwriter from Zeeland, Holland. This half dutch half antillean girl started writing songs at the age of 20. She soon was awarded the Zeeuwse Belofte (a local encouragement award) and many performances followed, as well as the release of a demo and a demo cd 'A Lover's Thing'. Her music can be described as singer-songwriter/pop and in the writing of it she feels mainly inspired by Neil Young and Michael Jackson. Two opposites, but equally as important to her, musically speaking. Because of her warm voice and personal lyrics, she adds a uniqueness to her music. Since she started making music 5 years ago, Marsha performed in many dutch places. From local bars to big venues.
