Darren has also stated in the VALLEYOFDRYBONES.tk forums, that the trio is actually busy writing new songs for a forthcoming cd... confirming that a new chapter in the band's history will finally see the light of the day.
I know many fans are still asking the reason why SADUS wasn't a part of the DESTRUCTION tour this winter. This is a statement Steve released in his official forum on Sept. 30th 2006:
"Two things I hate about this kind of thing.
First, when news from Blabbermouth gets posted as a thread on my forum having to do with my band.
Second, when news gets posted anywhere that isn't totally confirmed.
I appreciate the buzz it creates. But what if something goes wrong and this tour doesn't happen. Then I have to explain why and it seems like we pulled out when in fact it was never fully realized. And a little less important, but still worth mentioning: what about getting news from the source first? So now either way we have a sort of anti-climactic response coming soon regarding all of this. Hehehe... "

I was actually speaking to Steven's daughter eva earlier today about this.
I'm really in a bind here, i have very few options left.
It would mean a whole hell of a lot if you could do me this favor.
We're setting up a show, a very important show.
Our first venture into alameda, and we really want it to go well.
As a favor to fellow bay area thrashers, could you guys headline a show for us?

ya know these are old entries but i gotta say..fuck the whining...if your fortunate to see SADUS play anywhere then you are ..welll....fortunate...I saw them in Milwaukee years ago...and way way back in detroit i ..think...it was detroit..anyway..irrigardless..if you are fan of the "dudes" dont f with the dudes..give em a break..fukin 7-4 or whatever type of schedule anybody works on comes first...sadus was and is and allways will be a luxury for those of us that love it..the fact that the dudes find time to record and what not is a boon the the genre...i hope it continues,,,while knowbody lasts forever the music will..GO SADUS

A new show to announce...! We are going to go down to Puerto Rico next month. Another stop along the way in the Afuera Por Sangre tour of 2007. And another uncharted territory for us. We are pretty excited to be going there for the first time and basically excited to get back into the swing of things after a period of not much going on. I hope we can get the word spread around on the island and get a lot of thrashers out there and all enjoy a killer night. Here's the info...

Unless I'm not looking on the right sites, there is no official statement lingering out there. These sites seem to be rarely updated, so fans don't really have any other option but to speculate.
Can we please have an official statement? I think we have waited patiently for long enough.
Now, I don't mean to be rude, and I know you aren't obligated to give us a reason for not playing with Destruction (pulling out or otherwise), but something would be nice. This "official statement" basically says "Don't assume anything without confirming it with the source." OK. So, Sadus, or as I'll call you for now, "The Source", why did you not play in the tour with Destruction? I'm not saying you pulled out, because I don't even know if you guys had agreed in the first place, but for fuck's sake, don't release a statement saying you're going to release a statement. If you don't want to tell us, your fans, why you did not play in the tour with Destruction, that's perfectly fine. Tell us "It's personal, and it's none of your business." But if you want to tell us, and plan on telling us, then fucking tell us already! I, like many other Sadus fans, was really looking forward to seeing you guys play, but then was told that you weren't playing and some shit band was taking your place. I think we deserve something, whether it's "None of your business" or otherwise. Again, I'm not trying to be a dick, I'm just a bit disappointed.
