That was a great set at The Steam Whistle Brewing. Falling somewhere in between mystical art-rock and some ritualistic freak-jam, this duo delivered tribal-driven drumming in propulsive spades backed by quirky electronics aided by soul-happy chants as if their pants were on fire. Romo Roto’s cool factor mixed with the urge to make rhythmic mayhem made for an intense and spirited live performance.
