We are now only one day away from the live Rodrigo Y Gabriela 11:11 webcast taking place at a secret location in Dublin. The webcast performance will be streamed live over the internet; fans should be online at 20:00hrs GMT Irish Time (15:00hrs EDT, 12:00hrs PDT).
The web event, which will be hosted by muzu.tv; will be fully interactive allowing viewers and fans to join live chat feeds synched to Facebook and Twitter.

Live Webcast of 11:11 on 11/11 on Muzu.tv

Rodrigo y Gabriela will be playing live in Dublin on 11/11. This is a very special, intimate gig which will take place at a secret location, and will be streamed live over the internet; fans should be online at 20:00hrs GMT (15:00hrs EDT, 12:00hrs PDT). The web event, which will be hosted by muzu.tv; will be fully interactive allowing viewers and fans to join live chat feeds synched to Facebook and Twitter.

Fans should go to www.muzu.tv/rodygab to watch the live stream and enter a competition to win a personalized gold disc. Irish fans can also be in with a chance to attend the live gig itself on 11/11.

IMPORTANT: Switzerland Shows Postponed until December

Because of an unexpected delay in getting his passport renewed, Rodrigo from Rodrigo y Gabriela will not be able to be in Switzerland for the two shows planned this weekend (Fribourg on Saturday 30 Oct and Zurich on Sunday 31 Oct). These two shows are postponed until the end of their European tour:

The new dates are:

Sun 5 December 2010 - Fribourg, Fri-Son
Mon 6 December 2010 - Zurich, X-Tra

Tickets remain valid for the new dates.
Tickets are not refunded.

Rodrigo y Gabriela's European tour will now start next Tuesday (5 November) with the 1st of 5 sold out show in London and then go on to Dublin, Paris, etc...

Rodrigo y Gabriela would like to apologies for any inconvenience caused by this postponement and are really looking forward to the two shows in Switzerland on December 5 and 6.

OCTOBER TOUR CANCELLATION

Rodrigo y Gabriela are deeply saddened to announce the cancellation of their forthcoming United States October tour.

After a year of relentless touring, the wear and tear finally caught up with Gabriela. Her incredibly physical style of play involves banging out complex rhythms on the neck and body of her guitar night after night, putting great stress upon her right hand and arm as well as joints like the wrist and elbow. It is under doctors recommendation that she rest her joints and muscles to avoid further harm and permanent damage. While the duo is incredibly frustrated to have to pull out of dates in cities they were very much looking forward to visiting for the first time, the move was an unavoidable reality that had to be made in order to ensure that Gabriela fully recovers and is able to play at full capacity for many years to come.

Rodrigo y Gabriela hope to return to the cities affected by the tour dates in the future and are grateful for their fans continued support and understanding.

    Hola Gabriela, espero que te llegue este mensaje. Queria compartir contigo, que te averigues acerca de una terapia llamada "ART" Active Release Technique, esto fue lo que mas me ayudo cuando tuve problemas grabes por tocar intensamente los ritmos de rumba, los doctores me decian que mas podia hacer a parte de tocar la guitarra? por que eso era un occupational Hazard y que no se podia mejorar.. si quieres contactarme y te explico mas... oh los problemas aveces empiezan desde la espalda. un masajista de Sport therapy ayuda muchisimo tambien

    Just like in sports injuries when the joint, tendon , muscle or tissue can't absorb anymore of what we might call trauma, an injury occurs. Only with rest or if adhesion's have occurred commonly known as scar tissue therapy will have to be administered. Take care of those injuries and I'm sure you will come back stronger.
