    .. .. ..MyGen.. ..Profile Generator.. ...... I was born in Trinidad and Tobago in 1950 and came to the UK in 1964, where I settled and eventually studied Electronics and Acoustics at London University. .. .. I started playing guitar and bass, on a semi-professional basis, while at school and university. .. .. On graduating in 1973, I made the decision to become a full-time pro. musician as I was offered a chance to tour the USA with upcoming Rock/Jazz singer Linda Lewis, almost immediately. Then followed a World Tour with Linda Lewis on Cat Stevens’ Bamboozle Tour. .. .. Since then, I have been involved in recording, radio and television appearances, and live performances, with various artists including George Michael and Wham, Chris Rea, Marvin Gaye, Brian Eno & John Cale, Kylie Minogue, Rick Astley, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Elkie Brooks and Mick Taylor Band. .. .. I have been a member of artist Chris Rea’s band since 1986 to present, and have been involved in all his live and recording work over those years. .. .. I am also still performing with singer Linda Lewis, as her Musical Director in a band that includes drummer Richard Bailey, Godfrey Wang on keys, and James Ahwai, my son on bass. .. .. When I am not touring, I give private tuition to students of all ages and abilities from my home in North Kingston. I also work for the Kingston Music and Arts Service, teaching contemporary guitar and bass, in schools in my local area.

It is from "Another Sleeper," an album recorded with Max Middleton (keys) in 1979 which was released on EMI Harvest. It features Richard Bailey (dr) and Kuma Harada (b) .. .. "When Bongo Smiles" is from my album Trinidad, written and produced by Chris Rea .. .. "Makes You Wonder" is from Linda Lewis' album Whatever... co-written with Linda and Lynton Naif.
