    ............ .... The DJ and producer Ramilson Maia born in the Brazilian state of Bahia, where he grew up in a very simple way. At 16 he decided to move to Sao Paulo to search for opportunities, following his childhood dream to become an artist. Already in Sao Paulo Ramilson got himself involved with music and the nightlife, beginning to hand-out flyers and soon got a PR job at a night club in the city. Afterwards was the substitute DJ for DJ Fabiano, whom introduced him to the pick-ups. .. ..In 1995 he was introduced to DJ and producer Alex Hunt, artist of renown experience that recognized Ramilson's potential and invited him to create a track. From this moment started a great professional career of the DJ and Producer. His first vinyl had 300 pieces pressed and sold quickly, what motivated the artist even further to make more music. His third vinyl had 6 tracks licensed by the North American label Play it Loud. The tracks were played in the US and distributed all over the world. .. ....Ramilson's label released 13 vinyls and promoted partnerships with DJs Andy, Xerxes and Jason Brali, among many others. In 1999 launched his first CD called “E Musica” ( “It’s Music”), which was considered very innovative due to its mixture of Drum n’ Bass with strong elements of the Brazilian music. After the launch of this CD, many other DJs started to follow the same steps with this musical mix. The innovative formation with a DJ and a band has earned him gigs at places that no other DJ had been before in Brazil, as jazz festivals... ....Ramilson has made several success remixes, such as "Nao Me Deixe So" - Vanessa da Mata, "De Noite Na Cama" - Wilson Simonal, "Eu Quero Apenas" - Roberto Carlos and the production of the track "A Tonga da Mironga" for the electronic carnival album of all-times carnival diva Daniela Mercury. .. ....In 2004 Ramilson launched his forth album called "Ramilson Maia Apresenta Drum n’ Bass Brasil" and produced the remix "Filtro Solar" with the famous Brazilian journalist Pedro Bial. As a partner in the record label Mega Music Brasil he also launched the band Kaleidoscopio, later signed with IRMA Records (Italy) and had a remix released for the original soundtrack of the movie City of God. .. .. ..After the recent tour in Japan, Ukrania, Italy, Portugal, France, United Kingdom, Russia, Czech Republic, Spain, Austria and Chile, Ramilson has made an incredible beginning of season this year. As a DJ has played at the Top Model Fernanda Motta’s (Victoria Secret) party and initiated a residence through the summer season at the Club Cafe de La Musique in Florianopolis Beach, staying until the beginning of carnival when left to join singer and writer Daniela Mercury in her sound-truck in Salvador. .. .. ..Soon will be released a new album by the Italian label Irma Records, and he is also working in two new compilations to be release in Japan and France soon.
