    The name Quarter Inch Jacks has been around since around 2009 as a showcase for an array of several individuals' musical talents over time. Now, however, with firmly established foundations with respect to sound and members, the band are now set on experimenting with several different musical ideas to deliver a unique and diverse sound to audiences. So, if you ever get a minute and want to hear a weird and wonderful mixture of Pop, Rock, Blues, Funk and Indie, come pay a visit to one of our live shows, we don't bite.

Bio:

Hi guys, finally got round to putting up a myspace page. We are Quarter Inch Jacks, a teenage funk/rock/psychadelic/indie fusion band from Glasgow, and have played together roughly a year now. After coming 3rd in North lanarkshire's Battle of the Bands, the band had a break at the start of 2010, but now we are back, ready to gig once more, playing various venues around the Glasgow Gig Circut such as Classic Grand, Ivory Blacks, ABC, Maggie Mays, etc . We plan on releasing our EP around March/April 2011, but until then, enjoy the track we have up, from the soundtrack to Indie Film 'Stabbed', which we recorded last August with the help of Spirit Aid. Also, check out other random midi'd up samples and ideas we post, until we get new tunes recorded Please check us out occasionally, and watch out for us about the gig circut, Hope you enjoy our music guys :)
