Dutch pop duo Bauer, consisting of Berend Dubbe and Sonja Van Hamel, wrote a musical suite performed with the world renowned Metropole Orchestra. The suite, named The Bauer Melody of 2006 is a 12 segment homage to Nature, Love, Hollywood Musicals and all that is suave and lush. The Bauer Melody of 2006 recieved its world premiere during the Cross-linx Festival 2006, new compositions like 'Blissfully Up' and 'Here Come The Germans' were performed here for the first time.The music was orchestrated by Martin Fondse and arranged by Bauer and Martin.
