Oleg Pissarenko is one of most important guitarists and composers in Estonia. He has been composing and playing original music starting in 1999 with first experiments of acoustic "scandinavian" jazz, moving through groove and club music to "jazz minimalism", as he likes to call it today. 7 official releases of Oleg Pissarenko - "Ihtys" 2002, „The Little One s" 2004, „The Book s Burning" 2005, „Valguse Värvid" (Colours of Light) 2007, „Free Child World" 2009, "A2O" 2010 and "Who Are You" (Kes Sa Oled) 2012.

OLEG PISSARENKO BAND is actively performing since 2005 playing Oleg Pissarenko's own compositions. Beside concert life there have been released some records: "The Book`s Burning" (2005), "Valguse värvid" (Colors of Lights, 2007), "Prii lapse ilm" (Free Child World, 2009) and „Kes Sa Oled“ (Who Are You , 2012). The sound of the band can be characterized as a mixture of clean, melodic acoustic jazz with modern rhythms and its’ style might be called jazz-minimalism or "music as it is, in its simplicity and naturalness".

The idea of the jazz-trio, founded in 2000, is to create beauty and peace that emerges in music in opposition to the modern mentality of rushing.
