Wow. it's been a while since my last blog here. Sorry about that. I have been very busy with FAKE?, as have K.A.Z and Riki with Vamps and Mega8Ball respectively. I recently spoke with K.A.Z - he is busy recording in the U.S. right now. Riki has been doing shows after releasing a Mega8Ball single earlier in the year. I have just released the latest FAKE? album "Switching On X" which is available worldwide through iTunes, amazon etc. Check it out if you haven't had a chance yet...Hopefully it will blow your head off in the most beautiful way! :)
I thought it would be a good time to let you all know that I am on Twitter now. I started it a little after the new FAKE? album "Switching on X" came out, but it is my own personal account - so anything goes. Everything from Oblivion Dust, FAKE? and pretty much whatever I/you feel like. For some things, this might be the quickest source for info, so you are all welcome to follow me if twitter is your thing! Still early stages for me and I'm just getting the hang of it, but I will do my best to tweet in both English and Japanese so everyone can get an equal grasp of what goes on in my brain. Wow. こっちでblog書くの凄く久々な様な気がする！皆さんご無沙汰すみませんでした。僕はFAKE?、K.A.ZとRikijiもそれぞれのVampsとMega8Ballでかなり忙しくしてます。 最近K.A.Zと話し、彼は今アメリカでrec中、rikijiはちょっと前にMegaのシングルを出して、現在ライブしまくり中ってな感じです。二人とも元気そうだったよ。 僕のFAKE?は新作"Switching on X"をリリースしたばかり。まだ聞いてない人達はぜひ聞いてみてね。（ガッカリさせません保証付きです！）

By the way, I'll be appearing on FM FUJI radio show on January 4th between 20:00~21:00, mainly to promote the new FAKE? album that's out in Feb, but I'll be guesting for both Oblivion Dust and FAKE?, so check it out if you are close by to pick up the air waves.

明けましておめでとう！ ２０１０年がみんなの思う様な素敵な１年になる事を願ってます。 僕もOblivion Dustとして今年はなんかの形で活動できる事を期待してます。 ちなみに明後日の１月4日（月）FM FUJIの「FEEL SO MUSE」という番組に20:00〜21:00の間ゲスト出演します。 一応２月２４日のFake?のニューアルバムのプロモがメインで出ますが、今回はOblivion Dust/FAKE?のKENとして出て、オブリの曲も何曲かかかると思うので、ここにも書いときます。
Thank you for all the birthday messages and comments! Reading all the comments made me want to book a studio and just blast out an album! I’ll save this energy for when we do. I wish you all as good a weekend as I am having!
As I mentioned in the FAKE? blog last month, the OBLIVION DUST album has been delayed. We tried for a long time to figure out a way to get everyone’s schedules to match where we’d all be able to work together, but for the time being, this doesn’t seem possible. Rather than make a half assed album, we’ll get to work on the album when all members (including support members) can be in the studio at the same time and give it 100%. The process hasn’t come to a complete halt though, as we are all writing OD material individually, so when the timing comes we should be able to just bang out the songs in the studio (I already have some ideas that would be killer with KAZ and Riki’s playing on it!!). Sorry for the bad news, but nothing much we can do at the moment.
I’m currently writing the next FAKE? album that I’ve been dying to work on for the past few years. I’ll be teaming up with Ray McVeigh, who if you are a long time OD follower, will know produced the first three OD albums. Some of the songs are very OD sounding, so with Ray on board, the FAKE? album hopefully will be the next best thing for all of you who were looking forward to an OD product. Check out the FAKE? blog for more on that, ‘cause we’ll be starting in the studio any minute now.
As for OBLIVION DUST, I’ll let you know as soon as there are some OD sound waves coming your way!
